  1. Guys I have now lost this opportunity and would like to meet up with Rob (Charlie Fotheringay for those in the know) if I ever get to the UK again, with due respect, this isn't about drug busts or anything else. this is about someone trying a last ditch attempt at reconnecting with a very old friend! can you help or not?
  2. I should also add that I also worked at Tiffany's in Ashton Under Lyne (formerly the Birdcage) working for John Renda. I worked there twice, firstly before they found out I was under age to work there and then again after I was old enough! I also worked at Baileys in Oldham and a cabaret club in Denton (the name of which escapes me)! Some years later (after exiting the marriage that stopped me working) I did make a comeback briefly at the wine bar in Denton (where I met my second and still wife). Unfortunately I have lost contact with the soul scene but I am always interested in hearing anything I can,
  3. Ok so I only joined here to try and find an old accuaintance here. Many years ago, I was one of the founding DJs at Druffies (DRUFC) along with Rob Fallows and Paul Young. I have long since lost contact with all parties and would love to reconnect. I gave the soul scene and DJing away many years ago (many reasons) and am now an Expat in Perth Australia! It would be nice to hear from any from those days. I actually met my first wife there (is that a good thing) and for that I wish "Doogal" if he is around here my best as he dodged a bullet there! My memory is getting dimmer but one character I rember from those day is Froggy IFIRC, That was without a doubt the best time of my life (it also had some of the worst but we won't go there)! Any info gratrefully recieved!
