Big thankyou to all who came to Motown and Philly Sunday yesterday at Soho social Barnsley. Another fabulous afternoon, great atmosphere with our regulars and a few new faces. Thanks to My Guest Dj Martin Wright all way from Bonny Scotland and Baggie who popped over from Bradford with a box a great mix of tunes. Next Saturday is our Soul Saturday a week earlier than usual as we're away at Brid for scooter weekend end of month. It's also our Warm up for Soul on the Reef so always a goodn . Soul on the Roof. After the positive feedback from most of our regulars we're going to do another Sunday on the Rooftop. probably last of the year. Will still be playing Motown n Philly Soul with some old school classics. And a few chill out tunes with us been on the rooftop. so if you fancy a few cold beers watching sun go down and catching up with friends come and join us. Guest DJ this month is Paul Weaver from Goole Capricorn Soul Cub. May add more guests with us been on Roof. Venue 5 minutes from bus and train station at side of Barnsley town Hall.
