Nobody can deny that Ian has played his part ,payed his dues etc ,is a legend ,but it's a bit embarrassing for Butch ,to try to compare the two these days . I know he's on here and does'nt get caught up with all the hoo ha that goes on ,but why oh why even try to compare ? Why not just let Ian play his spot at the 100 club , by all means judge him if you want to ,but on the basis of what he offers up and not his past credentials etc . It's a decision made by Ady to put him on and it's generating a lot of interest ,so obviously a good bit of marketing ,so well done Ady I look forward with interest to read /hear how it goes

do you know who IAN LEVINE is he has discovered many great records we hear and play today' he is a legend . did you ever go to highland room Blackpool where many great records was discovered by Ian. you should not make judgement until you hear what he has to play. IAN is a very knowledgeable guy 'knows writers producers and all the labels. he may have drifted away from the northern scene but still knows the business inside out.

Ian Levine makes a DJ come back at the January 100 Club Nighter. Its been a while, but apparently Ian has been collecting again & has some unknowns & other things to share. Best news on Soul Source for some time imo.

Personally I think Venecia Wilson was a disgrace, but only because I love "Hey Girl" as much as I do, but I do think Joe Jama is a great tune. Would be interesting to see Ian DJ again.
