  12. Would agree and I find it so sad that a huge amount of SS members, find watching clips of subway buskers more of a priority. Thankfull to the other acknowledged, who have already posted in respect, we were lucky to have witnessed J.B's musical journey. Thank you.
  13. Sad news indeed, everyone should own a copy of the Soul Children "Friction" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ5lYR03OXA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nol8wLJyJFs&feature=related
  14. Indeed very sad news, lead singer in the seventies with the Soul Children and later during the 80's (mainly Soundtown) released one or two 45's and a excellent album City Slickers, whilst going it solo and still working with Homer Banks and Chuck Brooks at World Production Inc. Label mates with Shirley Brown also at Soundtown. R I P John Blackfoot.
  15. Brill, mate. Now that's what I call oldies.

  21. It's the only way I could differentiate between the two - it wasn't insulting - it was descriptive like saying the short one or the tall one.
  22. Hi thesoulgirl, I'd appreciate it if you'd remove the section of your review referring to my backing singers as 'the thin one' and 'the big girl', I don't think anybody you've never met would appreciate being referred to in such a way! Great show with Kings Go Forth for New Street Adventure! Visit http://www.facebook.com/newstreetadventure to sign up to our mailing list for a free download of 'The Big AC' and hear our E.P 'Just The Kind Of People' AND our podcast 'New Street Sounds' here Next shows are Thursday 17th Nov @ Fairfield Halls Croydon w/ The Selecter and Friday 9th Dec @ Barfly w/ The Stone Foundation
