  1. Yet to make a come back..........
  2. I'm sure Sandie Shaw covered it...... Turns out this is 'The Slow Fizz' !! Can't find the Fast Fizz yet....
  3. Not much I can add to the many exceelent comments above, except to echo them and offer a fervant Amen. For anyone who does see these tracks as in anyway relevant to Soul, then sadly Soul is something you do not comprehend or possess...
  4. OOPS....
  5. Fine band, enjoyed this one from back in 2021 as well.
  6. Nice one. Excellent vocals
  7. I have no objection to "other versions" in general but do agree entirely with your point that "as long as they offer something different." I found this version lacking anything fresh or particularly noteworthy..
  8. First thought that comes to mind is - Do we really need another version of what is already an established classic of its type?
  9. Tidy condition if possible - Any info on her also welcome. Cheers John
  10. Many good points made there Roburt
  11. Eh up Paul. It's quite possible we both got it wrong Paul, might have been a totally different record. You sure it was Whitchurch?? LOL I'm not too bad buddy, hope you are alright too.

  13. You took back in time there, yes those Sowl Bowl packs were great for finding lesser known gems and new artists, labels etc. to keep a look out for. I think, if memory serves me well, I got the groups Paree 45 from Bob and Barrys list in the early 70's for peanuts, purely based on the One-Derful stuff that I had picked up.
  14. Vintage Record Cases Wanted - Sixties / Early Seventies Only if tidy, not trashed...
