  7. Such sad news. Paul was certainly a character,not everyone's cup of tea but once you got past that brashness he was a pussycat who would do anything for you. Most of my Wigan stories involve him & there's quite a few to tell.Lost touch after Wigan but met up again at The Wilton in the 90t's & there was more fun to be had.Always wanting to point me in the right direction about tunes,always telling me what to buy out of Barries sales box.In amongst all the help there was that wicked wit with a glint in his eye to see if he could get a reaction out of you,I loved that. Got a nice UK red Atlantic copy of "Candy/I Found Out" myself,think I might have relieved my older brother of it Joe Lakin played "I Found Out" at Brid,sounded great & quite a few didn't know it? Always loved "Twilight Zone",one of there best I imo? Also got a copy of "More Power To You",I often use that as an example of funky northern always been played,great tune. Cheers Martyn
