  1. little beaver "do right man" saadia Ex 500GBP very highly regarded by the deep funk crowd but still to be picked up by the northern scene. Prehaps a little to slow for some but this is an awesome soul record. For the more open minded DJ and punter this would take the roof off !!! copy for over a $1000 on popsike and last copy I saw on ebay in 2011 went over $800. no low ball offers as i'm not letting this go cheap its too good. paypal gift preferred by PM please if interested.
  2. I still have the tommy tate LP from a previous sales thread. The LP was released only in japan and features the awesome track "I can't do enough for you baby" I will reduce that LP to 190GBP delivered. its M- cond.

OK I thought you just wanted to hear it. must be a lot harder than his other on the label as I see that one quite often but don't recall seing this one.
  8. Little Beaver LPs i've seen there are quite a few to go at. whats the prices and availability ? if they are cheap and somebody wants to sell a batch PM me preferrably UK as airmail shipping on LPs makes them to expensive. thanks.

its on a CD here ol virginia soul https://www.rootsandrhythm.com/roots/NEWSLETTER145/newsletter145_r&b_2.htm
  11. one here to get you started james phelps on paramount should be $10 or so 2 cracking sides. One a ballad other mid a 70s record. my copy just arrived today.
  12. couple of realy prices there. The kim tolliver is much harder to find as an issue and the deep side is great.
  13. I've never found a covered up record before it became uncovered in my 15 years of collecting. has anybody else here found a covered up record without actually havign the head start of being told what it is by the person who has it covered up ? off course the answer will be yes but I think in most cases the first few copies bought will be by people who know the name and have not found it out them selves.
  14. might be useful to put up his other names so people can be aware and on the look out. I remember this same user name from the funk forum but have never dealt with him.

there is a very recent thread discussing this probably just as the auction started.
  16. Dylan replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
I think its safe to say you will have to pay a bit more than 50GBP...... thats very cheap.
  17. Dylan replied to a post in a topic in Record Wants
one of the first slower tempo records i bought a real pivotal record for me which had a big impact on the sounds I looked for. awesome. file along aside the accents "you better think again"
  18. it would if you had proof of what you paid. Thast the tricky bit.
  19. ----------------------
  20. that works that if you won a very expensive record very cheap you would be less incliuned to get upset about paying extra for the postage as overall you'd still have got a very good deal. Easy enough ?
  21. I don't know that record. Or what its worth. seems the general concensus is neg feedback or try and get some cash back.
  22. not sure I think it is insured for the price you bought it for not the price you sold it for. i'm no expert and i've never had to do it but i'd be very wary you are getting the cover you think you are.
  23. see section 2 the box on the right. It asks for original receipt for proof of value ftp://ftp.royalmail.com/Downloads/public/ctf/rm/Inland_P58_form_English.pdf
  24. fairly sure yes. i've started another thread asking i anybody has ever had to claim. I'm sure there will be ways to claim successfully if required but i've certainly read what I wrote. I found it via it google search on the topic and the royal mail website suggests this is the case as well but doesn't go into full detail.
