Point I was attempting to make goes along these lines Seller : Do you want tracking insurance to ENSURE delivery Buyer Buyer : No cheapest option post please item then gets tossed around by Royal ( Though what ' s Royal about it ) Mail and lo and behold seller loses out cos buyer wants a refund after paying for pony express... Royal Mail lose in excess of 1000 + parcels daily ... if you sell full time these losses soon mount up - only attempting to look at this from both sides .. it ' s often the seller who is out of pocket ..Ebay / Paypal claim always finds in favour of buyer unless tracking insurance purchased - which most people don ' t want to pay for - cheapest option 99% of time EVEN for expensive items. Have now took decision to send all items over £50 in U K go special delivery or recorded .. and RM manage to lose 5 RD items last year for me alone ..multiply that by the amount of full time dealers in UK alone one hell of a lot of parcels go astray , get lifted , no card left by postie , stuck in delivery office ... the list is endless....

£20 seems to be the going rate nowadays - since the reissue on 45 of a couple of tracks has crept up in value in it ' s original format...

Ive made a big complaint to ebay of double standards. I listed to Signed Beatles albums with no COAs and fully listed as non-verified with a full explanation, Within 24 hours they have been removed by ebay with a standard email saying they are in breach - " Not Authentic. Ive even had someone from ebay telling me I had a strike against my account. This is because The Beatles owners have departments who trawl Ebay and immediately send an infringment notice VERO program is the name ..Unfortunately not so keen with regard to northern soul 45s as they don 't have experts who understand the market ... and I doubt would ever show inclination to employ such while making 10 % comms on selling fees.....

Pete Ebay would be more concerned if CD sold as new and buyer complained not as described and takes out an INR dispute - then they are all over you like a rash .... Sure EMI Records would be interested in those dodgy Tamla Motown promo reissues hmmmm Do we know anyone who works for them...???

Would have thought £500 is more realistic for Jesse Fisher - without doubt his rarest 45 and not many owners of the disc in U K , has sold for £750 / 600 in previous years....
