  4. All, Over the years I’ve seen dozens of 45s with the same distinctive symmetric pastel coloured background. Does anyone know the reason for this? Same pressing plant maybe? AND Lets see how many of them are out there - post your pictures. Here are three of the top of my head:-

    I cut my own inserts." - bought ones are too flimsy. I got a 7.50" x 7.25" & a 12.50" x 12.25" thick glass plate made up as my templates and after trying multiple methods found the best way to cut card is an electric bread knife!!!

  17. Just visited 'The World of Coca-Cola' in Atlanta Has anyone every seen a 15" record before? I bet this Supremes record is rare! And the ultimate 7"!!!!

  19. I wondered what the £6k record was that they mentioned they'd played in the last hour. Who is the 'Phil' bringing these in and playing them (I only caught 15 mins of the show).
  20. Just heard Tony Blackburn play Mel Britt "She'll come running back" on Radio 2's - Sound of the 60's (On Phil's' collectors spot). Never thoughts I'd hear that!!!!!
