All, I received my records back from Diego today + 15 Euros cash for my out of pocket expenses. I personally am relieved to get them back - considering that I was looking at a £880 loss when I first discovered the problem while talking to Fraiser Dunn a couple of weeks back. The outcome is not ideal but at least Diego was true to his word. Me thinks the real enemy here is Paypal!!!!!!! Paul Capon

I met Clifton Dyson at Terry Jones's weekly bash in the Norfolk Village pub in Shorditch, London years ago along with Rick Webb ('Sitting on your doorstep') & Al Mason ('Good Lovin' on Fynal Vynal etc.). I got Clifton & Al to sign my records. Clifton didn't even know the Differences record and certainly wasn't aware it had been released!!!! (I wonder were the royalties went then?). I've still got the flyer from the night some where which I also got all three to sign. I've still got the records (Thanks to Phil Haynes for the Differences @ £25 in 1989!!!! and Al Mason on FV for a £5er). Those were the days!!! (PS I wish I could find The Differences for £250!!!! All, After a long wait (10 years!!) I've recently managed to get Tommy Tate's LP ' Hold on' on MALACO which contains the sublime 'I can't do enough for you baby' (sorry if I outbid anyone who was after it!!!!!!). It arrived in mint condition and looks almost too good!!! Is anyone aware of this LP being re-released? I've run through all the usual channels (google searches and Japanese site translactions, Ebay searches etc.) and I've also emailed Malaco customer services (no response yet) and can find no evidence of a re-release. So does anybody have any info? If someone has a copy could they dig it out and mail me at xoversoul'at'ntlworld.com (replace 'at' with @) with their phone number so we can compare all the numbers, matrix numbers, sleeve info. All, I've had a reply from Diego this morning and he has explained the situation and has said that he is going to return my records and refund any postage costs. Apparently he had a reversal on his Paypal account and Paypal started reversing his other transactions to bring him back into credit. I will keep the board posted on the outcome. Paul Capon
