Nice one Mossy i'm sure ive seen your Box a few years ago seem to think it may have been at Keele and as you say it was a eye catcher.Back in the day all the top DJs had wooden boxes wonder where they ended up.Remember Ginger Taylor's with the WRONG SIDE OF TODMORDEN sticker in side the lid.

Great record Dave still hear it out regularly at soul nights.Think i'm in the minority as i actually prefere Elsie Strongs version on Finally label which has the instrumental on the flip.

Recently i put up a shout in the wants section for a second hand record case,money tight at moment so a new one was not an option.Anyway got no response so it got me thinking could i make one and for how much.I ended up after a week and after £25 spent on materials the rest salvaged from an old tool chest with the result shown below.Got a lot of satisfaction making it.The inside is lined with carpet tile and holds 150 records.Anyone else got home made boxes would love to see um up.

Ok Guys so which release is the hardest to get these days.I would say based on the prices i see from dealers its down to DENA BARNES,NABAY,LESTER TIPTON,FLAME N KING,AL WILLIAMS.These are the big 5 that seem to be always in demand.

Ok this is mine on vinyl with slight bevelled edge but deffo not see through even when candled against lamp Also has a sguare stamp at 10 oclock in run out on both sides plus scratched in MH-6576-A. Any opinions

Yep agree on that but still confused as previous posters have said there may be a boot of this.Is the boot on Styrene or vinyl and how do you tell as i am not aware this was booted at all and there is no mention of it in J.M s guide.

I must be missing something here.So are you saying the vinyl ones are boots and if so Why does Manships Guide have the Vinyl copy priced higher than the styrene one.CONFUSED

Manships guide mentions no boots of this only a STYRENE press and a Slightly more expensive VINYL one.Well known the styrene has poor sound quality which 1s why most go for the vinyl one

Think theres a vinyl and a styrene press on BROWN DOOR.Mine is the vinyl one but not booted to my knowledge
