Was talking to Tony Taylor here the other day. He's originally from Manchester, went to Wigan and then joined the army. He was'nt aware the scene was still going and was amazed when i told him how big the scene is now. He would love to get in touch with any of his old mates as he's been living here in Western Australia for a while now. So if anyone remembers him please pm me and i will pass on the names. Well said Webby. Can't understand all the negative things said on this thread as just about everyone would have quite happy to dance to it in the 70's. So WHY has it taken over 30 years to decide it ain't northern. No-one ever said it was in 74, we all just bloody loved shuffling to it. His name is Tony Taylor who now lives here in Perth, Western Australia. He would really like to catch up with him but has no idea whether or not he is back on the soul scene in the u.k. Here goes, sold my copy of Billy Hines knowing there were only 2 known at the time ( 1977 ) for a mere 60 quid. Had to pay 900 to get it back last year after it ended up in the U.S.A. Yep i could do Den, but would rather have the Columbia demo. Not in a hurry so prepared to wait for one. Also would'nt mind ' a little on the blue side ' at some stage.
