yeah just been looking there actually carty, they sell spares and accesories too. Just ordered 2 batteries of eBay, gonna give it a good clean up and then everything crossed. It had the old batteries in that were badly oxidised, but fortunately the connectors had been disconnected. that could be a sign that it doesn't work, or maybe the previous owners couldn't be bothered changing the batteries?

Well, charity shop yes, but they wanted £40 for it, and I offered £20 because they didn't know if it worked or not and neither did I, so we settled at £25.

Just bought this from a charity shop, it was instant love. Not sure if it works yet as I need 2 PP9 batteries, but not bothered if it doesn't. I love it It's a 'Dansette'

I have seen for many years on a lot of records from the states, usually on 'VJ' or 'Bunky' labels, the words 'Bunky's Pick' What does that mean? where did it originate from? and who or what is 'Bunky' apart from a record label of course.

Ah well!! Only paid £15 for it so still worth it in my books.

Saying that Pete, I sold one of the shitty 3rd Wigan anniversary linen print badges for £209. Seems that everyone wants a piece of the history.

About a year ago I was looking at an eBay sellers list, and saw a title I didn't recognise. I went over to trusty Youtube and listned to it, and decided I liked it. so I bought it. I'm pretty sure it is a recent re-press of the track, but I have never heard it played out anywhere. Is it me? do I go to the wrong places to hear it? The track is by 'Visions' and is called 'All I need is your love'. It's a lovely track, not a stormer but still a dancer.

I have found after 12 years of buying and selling on eBay, that if you are suspicious about something, you should ring eBay directly and report it. Unless they know about such goings on, they can't do anything about it, and if you make them aware, they act swiftly to sort it out. I would def report it, and even if it isn't a shill bidder, no harm done.

I'm watching to see if it gets relisted now, cos I wrote to the guy joking about the price it had reached and this is the reply I got, smells fishy to me. My question - Is the Sheila Anthony gold plated? LOL, They've gone mental :-) Reply - Yes - a bit odd! But I imagine I'll be re-listing it soon - the winner is unlikely to pay for the record at this price...

RIP that man. A very sad occurence and I believe has never happened before to my knowledge. I also believe from what I have heard that Dean Parrish was playing at the time, not sure what track but not a bad last thing to hear in my opinion. Bless his Soul.
