I used to own a single sided demo, there was a big buzz about that at the time, between my older soul mates, agreed here it is a rare record, not seen that often

i`d be round all the second hand shops in nottingham today, if its not a soul related theft wich sounds very improbable to me due to the close knit cominty of the soul scene, then some oppertunist has stolen them, the thing with these recordsis there actually not worth a penny to anyone who`s not in the know, sad news mate i hope you get them back safe and sound

Spent years and years pulling my hair out trying to find a black rca dean courtney, i started by trying to get all the american releases that were available on black rca off the jumping at the go go album

Personally i used to love collecting the RCA, DECCA, CORAL black issues look lovely in sets

thanks for the thought salmon, it was for a mate, managed to get him a mint demo for £200 wich he was very happy with, the stock copy i would put at least £250 based on the price of the demo, never see the stockers

It has been drilled into us over many years pete, due to the amount of dodgy stories, very convincing bootlegs, stories of even well seasoned collectors being tripped up, to be very suspicious of things that are not as described, i`m sure mark sold the disc in good faith, but john as you say does have a point imho
