Hi Everybody - I was wondering if anybody who knows about my Detroit and Philly sessions, would be interested in a couple of podcasts which would include original demo material from the songs, showcase the actual released versions, talk about the incarnation of the melody and groove on the recordings, the eventual finding and contacting the co producers and musicians to perform on them etc. I have audio that would be of interest maybe, plus stories of how things came together, inclu

The website thirteen.org has 9 full length episodes of the late 60s/ early 70s New York Tv show available to view online. As they have been up a year or so it may be "old" news to some, apoligies if that is indeed the case for you, but at a guess it may be "new" news to a few at least and so may be worth the effort, The website thirteen.org itself has full details and history of this tv show (including full episode guide) and so apart from a grab of the episode listing and a few quotes will

I found a CD with this show I did with the lovely Jim in the early naughties or maybe late 90's. I know the Isaac Hayes track goes on a bit, but it's a great record of Jim's personality and I thought I'd share as so many people thought so much of him. Enjoy Check out "Soulcast Jim Demetrio with Rob Holmes" on Mixcloud http://www.mixcloud.com/SoulBrotherNumber2/soulcast-jim-demetrio-with-rob-holmes/ Thanks to Pete Smith for telling me how do share this.
