Frankie Valli - Exclusive Interview on Smooth Radio June 16th

On Sunday, June 16th Frankie Valli talks for the first time on Radio about his Northern Soul output.

From the solo outings of 'You're Ready Now', 'You're Gonna Hurt Yourself' to the 4 Seasons- 'I'm Gonna Change' 'Beggin' , Opus 17 to 'The Night' and more.

 

The original Jersey boy talks Northern, only on Smooth 70's, Sunday, June 16th from 2pm

 

Smooth 70s is the sister station to Smooth Radio and can be found on DAB or on line http://www.smooth70s.co.uk

The Soul Connection is every Sunday 2-5pm.

    Been working with an American recently who alleges that Frankie Valli is his uncle :g: wonder if it´s true?why would anyone make up such a story? Whats Frankie Valli´s real name anyway?

    Not a question I will ask him as I have been given 30 mins(Agents/Managers pah!) but I once hit a store in Bloomfield, NJ that FV used to buy records from(according to the owner.

    Found some nice things to incl a Red Velvet Satins. I think it was around 1976.

    Hi Kev,well done again for securing an interview with such a huge legend as Frankie Valli. Don't laugh anyone, but one of my pride in my record collection is a white smash demo of You're ready now, what a feel good tune and cheap as chips. one of his records that always comes to mind is Can't take my eyes off you from the film Deer Hunter where there playing pool. Good to catch up with you at Ginger's 60th, see you soon. Rod Clegg.
