This is year 6 for Ashby Connoisseur's Soul Club and on August 20th we celebrate our 20th Anniversary  and for the first time at our new venue, The Loft at the Queens Head, Market Street, Ashby de la Zouch.
The new venue has it's own room above the main bar and hotel, equipped with an amazing sound system. The room has it's own well stocked bar and spacious room which should be ideal for our event and the landlord will provide us all with a hot buffet on the day. There is room for dancing if that is your thing and plenty of seating for those who enjoy listening to the great tunes.
If you have attended previous events you will know what to expect and how seriously good the music and atmosphere are. If you missed them for some reason or are a new member, you should try and make one of the events this year, they are a must for all lovers of soul music. Those who attend regularly know the variety and quality of music played. Each event we try to select DJ's with diverse musical tastes and this month is no different.

August 20th marks a special event for marpresents @potbank Sunday Soul Sessions and a very special occasion For One of the Djs Dave Evison has he plays his last DJ Sets in his hometown Stoke. A stalwart of the scene Mr Ms Wigan Casino, The Torch, Twisted Wheel, Blackpool, Kingshall, and of course a presenter on Signal Soul show and recently at Hitmix Radio He brings his time behind the decks to a close in September in Blackpool at the 50th Anniversary of Wigan Casino and of course His book Launch 👌 As an advocate of what we have done here @potbank It fills us with a great deal of pride to get Dave here on our Fifth Anniversary Event And I.M.H.O. We have had the best of the best Djs in Staffs, Cheshire, Midlands, and Beyond not too mention our Fair share of National Djs play here for you, We thank them one and all ❤ But we could not have reached this milestone without Each and Everyone of you who has passed through our Doors We may not have got it right Everytime but you gave us the benefit and you keep on coming and here will still are, Dave will be doing two sets and will be Ably assisted by Geoff Macaskill who incidently was here on day one and myself Mick R it should be a Belter, So if you cant make Blackpool or the few events dave has yet to do Then this is your chance to give him the send off he deserves
