Our first Northern Soul night of 2025 as our club continues to grow.  On Friday 7th February we have the next installment of the Searching For The Young Soul Rebels nights bringing you the best in Northern Soul and R&B.  Resident DJs Craig Bell, Gary Bell, Ian Fenwick and Brian Dodds will be on hand to man the decks and we are delighted to add Vicky Darbyshire (Ripon City Soul Club) to the bill as our Guest DJ this month.  Our soul events have a reputation of providing an excellent selection of Northern music in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.  Add in a huge wooden dancefloor, a fantastic sound system and cheap bar prices you have all the ingredients for a classic night out.  All for the cheap price of £5 on the door.  Hopefully see you all out on the floor.  Keep The Faith!!!

Paul “Pep” Hayden - One of the main men behind the successful Newtown Alldayers in Wigan.  Derek “The Duck” Watmough one of the scene’s longest servants and a DJ of vast knowledge & experience. 
On a personal level I’m really pleased one of my besties,  Phil Broadhurst is back behind the decks on Friday. As many of you will know Phil has been away from the scene for a few years  caring for Linda who sadly lost her battle and passed away recently. Obviously a very tough and emotional time for Phil. Phil is one of the scene’s Gentlemen so I hope many of you can join us on Friday and support Phil’s return to the decks and being back amongst his friends, I know he’s really looking forward to playing some great music for his friends. A venue for lovers of authentic soul music with something for everyone

I love the well known Northern Soul oldies.
That is why those popular tunes get continious play,
& yes 95% of them everytime will fill the dance floor.
BUT, if DJ's do not introduce new material into their sets it gets repetitive & each DJ ends up choosing "safe play" material from their boxes.
Plus, wherever you go, you then hear the same tunes & you don't progress into hearing those other wonderful tunes that are out there.
So this is why I have asked 26 different DJ's to join me over six events this year, so that they can bring to us that wider selection of music for us to hear, enjoy & dance to.
So at these events, please @everyone support the fact that the DJ's will be playing tunes that you know & a few that you don't, but that is how this wonderful soul scene for the past 55 years has & will continue to progress.

Every other month I arrange with different DJ's from around the country to come along to the club & play records from their collections.
These tunes over the past 60 years have been rediscovered by collectors, enthusiasts, dealers & DJ's who relentlessly search through mountains of old records & in some cases original studio tapes in the hope of finding a brilliant tune that has something special that makes you want to dance with a passion.
Some of these records in the past 45 years have become Northern Soul dance floor classics.
