If you are staying and walking to the venue head into the market place and walk towards Boots ,which is at the far end towards John Adams Way, just past is a Tudor fronted building with a passageway one side and a narrow road along the other, walk down either of these and you should finish up in a small square with a row of houses at the bottom, the venue is down a small road to the right of the last house.
If you're travelling from Lincoln/Grantham/Spalding direction follow the signs for Skegness but stay in the left hand lane on the dual carriageway and as soon as you cross the bridge and the road bends round to the left take the first exit, Sibsey Lane, there will be a sign up, and follow that road adjacent to the dual carriageway until it opens into a square, don't go back onto the dual carriageway, then a small road leads to the venue on the right, again there will be a sign.There is a car park but if it's full just park in Boots car park next door as long as you don't leave your vehicle there overnight.
If you're travelling from Spilsby/Skegness direction follow the signs for the station but stay in the right hand lane and go around the big roundabout and come back on yourself then follow the above directions.

Rotation, which is the three collectors, Mick Hood, Karl Morgan and Steve Laming are well into their third year of their monthly residency at the Nut Bar a cool basement under the Keppels Head Hotel in Portsmouth. This month two favourites join them on the decks, Julie Lambert and Sare Atkinson. These two ladies have an incredible pedigree from playing records all over the soul scene. SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.
Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 
Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.
The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

Soul at the Man began 10 years ago and at first we relied on a loyal, local following. We now have Soul fans travelling from Stoke-on-Trent, Cheshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, South Wales and further afield.
We will be playing everything on vinyl as usual, Northern Soul Classics, Sixties R'n'B, Motown dancers, Sixties and Seventies Soul and of course some rarer and underplayed tunes thrown in!
The Winking Man has absolutely everything a Soul fan needs. It is a gem in the Peak District on the main Leek to Buxton Road A53. It has beautiful surroundings and a large free car park. Overnight camper vans are more than welcome, however please contact the venue first to book your spot. If you don't wish to drive, there are plenty of superb local taxi services including minibuses. For those travelling from further afield, there is a great selection of local accommodation.
Inside, the large bar opposite the stage sells a great range of refreshments at very reasonable prices. Could you please refrain from bringing in your own drinks too SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL VENUE.There is ample seating throughout the venue when you need to take a breather from dancing.
In between the stage and the bar is the pride and joy of the room... the huge dancefloor. It will be polished to perfection and a pleasure to dance on. We must insist on NO TALC, DRINKS OR HANDBAGS on the dancefloor please.

The Alternator All-nighters are being held at Burton Carribbean Association - a vibrant charity supporting the local community with Activities, groups and a food bank. 
If you would like to donate to the food bank, please bring  non-perishable items (tins / packets)  to the nighter! Thanks 👍
