This event is now being held at Cleveleys Working Men’s Club. The weather that has been forecast has forced our hand and a dry, wind free venue had to be found.
Following the success of last year’s event, we go again with a northern soul event right here on the Prom at Cleveleys.
Hosted by Care For Cleveleys (Kings Award For Volunteers) and brought to you by Soulful Wednesdays DJs, Mark Isles, Alan Christy, Steve McDonough and Derek Gorman.
We are all praying for good weather, but should it be too wet n windy, we have use of Cleveleys Working Men’s Club, just a short 2mins walk away from the prom.

Edgeley SK Soul Club since our first night in March 2024 has gone from strength to strength. From September 2025 onwards we are going monthly. Our soul nights will always be on the 2nd Saturday every month. Put a note in your diary. 
We have a core of top class local DJ's who play across the board Northern Soul and Motown mixed with the occasional R&B. All our DJ's are free to express themselves as they wish and they always do. Expect a mixture of "Rare and Underplayed" as well as a few Northern Soul classics. We have a policy of "Original Vinyl Only" which we believe adds to the experience, as our guests can always expect and will receive quality soul music.
Our DJ line up on Saturday 13 September 2025 is Carole Burgess, Steve Skopek, Dave Beech, Steve Foran and our special guest DJ is the brilliant Stephen Connolly.

Manchester .M15 5EU. It's situated behind 'Hulme Garden Centre'. For  me it's got 'Northern Soul' written all over it & many who have attended tend to agree. It doesn't look like much from the outside ,but once inside it's got that old music hall look similar to Wigan Casino (although very much a lot smaller) or indeed Bradford Queen's Hall (again but on a smaller scale). It's got a nice wooden dance floor & balcony's (Strictly No Drinks the Dance Floor). Join us for a very special intimate acoustic gig with 4 members of the 8-piece* soul band, Stone Foundation. Expect songs from the new album, Revival of Survival, alongside some of the classics.
In 2023, Stone Foundation celebrated 25 years of success with the release of the retrospective anthology Standing In The Light. Their new material is reflective of the confidence within the band, who cannot wait for the fans to hear it, and indeed to play the new material live.
