This November we have resident DJs Richard Reed & Sean Taylor with special guest DJ Avril Kesteven, playing the best in Northern Soul & Tamla Motown all on vinyl on the venues superb surround sound system. Soul Brew are still planning on sticking to the third Friday of every month to avoid clashing with other events locally - here are a few details for our November jaunt at The Harold Club.🙂
The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system; top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need at all for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; large car park & good transport links. We have request-friendly DJs, playing a healthy mix of favourite old stompers, rare & underplayed tunes plus some nice gritty old R&B dancers. All aimed firmly at the dance floor! 🕺💃🕺💃🕺💃
It's situated on the main road, with easy access from Chain Bar Roundabout & close to Low Moor train station. There's even a nice hotel (The Guide Post) less than 10 mins walk away for those who fancy making a weekend of it!
We tend to limit numbers to 120 max in order to make sure everyone has a seat & also a space on a not-too-crowded dance floor, so please be early to avoid disappointment.
