Monny1916 February 6, 20223 yr Firstly I enjoyed myself, as my friend and I arrived we were greeted with a smile and a nice gesture as to any requests just ask , as a great believer of letting DJs , DJ and me dance I only offered up 1 pure quality tune , mr turkey Richards , which was duly promised and played at 11pm 👍👍 earlier in the evening as expected it was slowly filling up , after a very nice warm up dancers from various areas of the compact yet good hall were finding there feet , as we progressed however the music became a little tame , the tempo somewhat subsided, the dancing became less , the way I have always gauged a DJs performance is if I dance for half their set I am more than happy , this did not happen on this occasion, but was very close , and as this was our first visit I am more than willing to return, to them greeted smiles and nice gestures Response from the promoter: Thank you for your comment on our club and for attending last night. I’m glad you felt welcomed and knew you could ask for requests. If we have them in our boxes we try to play them. We play a variety of soul tunes to please many tastes. Hope to see you at another of our events in the future, we have a good line up of Guest DJs this year including Martin Stanford and David Raistrick to name just two.
