    Fabulous location , convenient for travellers being close to A19 , and in the shadow of the iconic Penshaw Monument. 
    Previous day had seen Kubix festival on site with 17,000 attendees and in fairnesses numbers at Soultasia not replicated but still a good crowd enjoying an impressive list of quality acts (tho unfortunately Alexander O’Neil was ill) a massive stage , large screen either side and an amazing sound system . A slight breeze made the sun /high temperatures enjoyable . Plus there was a hugh Northern Soul & Motown ‘big top’ - I guess the largest at any festival anywhere for DJs playing Northern ! Added to which plenty of bars and food outlets it really was quite something . Recommend you check the other Soultasia dates up and down the country & attend if you can .
