Playing the best in soul music - all on vinyl. We can be found at the Ivory Music Bar, 2 The Ginnel, Harrogate, HG1 2RB. The events run on selected Sunday afternoons on a bi-mothly basis. Not only will you hear some great music all played off vinyl, you can enjoy the fabulous selection of drinks that are on offer - plus special drink promotions when available.

    Only managed to pop in for a few hours, Added bonus, able to pick up direct from Gary Cape, Hit & Runs’ latest release - the previous unreleased Deon Jackson.

    Thought Movin’ was outstanding - its bi monthly (2pm -10pm), remarkably it’s also free admission. The Ivory is classy venue with a fabulous sound system & luxury vibe hence ideal for these Sunday soul chill out sessions. Similarly with the music -rarer, 7ts, x-over, new releases and an hour of ‘Northern’ from the residents, Mike Lowcock , Dave Cervi- Kilner and John Postill. Then adding to the mix, the superb sounds from John Britton. 

    Highly recommended and for those travelling from afar  - the gorgeous Spa Town of Harrogate is idea  for a day trip or to spend a weekend break. Located in the Montpellier area , Betty’s tea room is just round the corner from The Ivory , car park adjacent,  train and bus station 10 min walk and the eclectic ‘Space Vintage’ opposite.  
     

    And yes , House Bros ‘shake’ did get a spin !
