The Boat, Trentside, Nottingham NG2 5FA  - 4th Friday of every month

We aim to continue the nights of the Brit / Boat / Union  Playing 100% OVO. Playing the best of soul. Using the best of DJs

Northern 60s, 70s, Current plays, Under played, Rare, Top 500, Unissued  R&B etc etc - 

Nottingham's finest Mick H has joined the DJ line up and will be with us as and when available + with Alex Gallagher and myself, Mick Boyle + a monthly guest

    The Boat - Friday June 23rd

    Our special guest this month is David Raistrick - The promoter of the original Skegness weekender, record dealer and owner of Stars and Strips record store. Radio host and the man who had the foresight to bring these amazing records back from the states. Dave was one of the first pioneers of what we know and love, Northern Soul. So it’s such a pleasure and an honour to have him play for us at The Boat. Dave will also be selling vinyl on the night, so traders welcome.

    The music will be outstanding.
    The balcony will be open to panoramic views of the river Trent.
    And Dave will bring a little Skegness magic.

    Look forward to greeting you all on the night.
