The Cherry Pit Rhythm and Soul Club is BACK for 2023!

Wigan's ONLY basement, 60s style Soul club!

The Cherry Pit is NOT a traditional Northern Soul event. Instead it is a pre-ballroom era Soul club, drawing on influences from The Twisted Wheel, The Sink, The Hideaway Club and everything else in between. 

Expect 60s soul, early and underplayed Motown, 50s/60s R'n'B, Ska, British R'n'B etc.

Resident DJs Neil&Phil Brown and Peter Smith, joined by special guests Alan Christy and Andy Rowan (The Chicken Shack)

2-8pm, £5. OTD

At The Boulevard. 19 Wallgate, Wigan. WN1 1LD. 2 minutes walk from both Wigan train stations.
