Our next gig, a real pleasure to have Steve Plumb visit Lost Souls in June, from Soulful seventies to the connissuers rooms at Summer in the Park and Winter Gardens, I was amazed at the reaction I got from people happy that Steve is coming to Burnley. I can tell you that some friends from Hull were gutted as they weren't Bridlington but decided as Steve was a great favourite they would leave Brid on Sunday and come over to Burnley.  Mick Howard from Ashton's Ukrainian club joins us, the Uke club is right up there now with the best of underplayed and rare soul. Steve Oxburgh from Hull a regular at L Souls is our final guest dj, would have been rude not to

    Lots of interest in this event, a great way to see out the month of June. A recession busting £2 gets you in!! Always a busy day, kicking off at 2pm, but lots usually arriving before that, so get there early!!

    Culcheth's "So Soulful Saturday" Maestro Steve Plumb, myself and Hull City Soul's Steve Oxburgh guesting this month, joining residents Roman, Dave Ferguson, Jill Davidson, Wendy + Lodgy. A great mix of music, covering all the bases!!  See you there!!

    An early get together reunion with Steve Plumb and Roman from last weekends Winter Gardens, some gems surely to be heard. Mick Howard hot from Culcheth last, plaudits for his spot there., Steve Oxburgh Hull city soul completes guest jocks. Plus Roman,David Ferguson, Richard Lodge, Wendy K and Jill Davidson.

    Football in bar lounge or cinema room upstairs, Haffners pies, craft ales at great prices, this our last here until end September although it looks like we do the Old Stone Trough on Saturday 31st August, Richard Lodges birthday frolics.
