About The Event
The Juke Joint happens in an authentic basement bar set in a legendary Liverpool club, The Jacaranda. It opened in 1958 originally as a Jazz club evolving thru the 60s embracing Mersey Beat, Mod, Soul, R'n'B and Jamaican music and culture. The Juke Joint is a bi-monthly event for those who like to listen and dance to amazing music in a cool and friendly place. It's hosted by resident DJ Phil Laing with special guest DJs selecting from their precious vinyl collections. Fellow resident DJs are David Melling and David Callister.
We have special guest DJ Luci Jones helping us to celebrate our 7th ANNIVERSARY!!! The main event is in the basement. The music is also connected to the ground floor where you can enjoy good vibes whilst you are buying a bev or whilst chatting to friends/loved ones/ randomers!!!!
