Our first SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE RITZY of 2024 is on March 16th!

And it's going to be really special - we have none other than the legendary Valatone gang reunited in musical glory to bring an amazing night of joy to the Ritzy dancefloor.

So, for one night only you have 3 of the original Valatone DJs - Johnny, Phil and Buey - to take us back to those heady nights at the St Aloysious Club in Euston. Valatone was always one of the freshest, most innovative and much loved London clubs from the early 21st century - and their 2019 reunion at the Fiddler's Elbow in Camden was a total hot, sweaty sell out.

Expect a packed out dancefloor, underplayed sounds from the 60s and 70s and of course, those very special records that became Valatone classics.

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.

Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 

Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, LISA HURLEY and DOUGIE LING make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.

The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

We're now in our third fantastic year, and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2024.  (See attached flier)

Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
