LISA WOLVERSON + VIC RANGER+ RHYS WEBB!

LISA, from Dublin, is returning for the third glorious time, having completely smashed it out of the park on her first two visits. LISA mixes across the board soul, pushes new discoveries with underplayed classics and IS NEVER BORING. In fact, she's always a joy. 

Many of you will be really excited to hear about the return of VIC, who laid down his headphones in the late Noughties, when fatherhood came calling. VIC was one of the leading DJs on the mod soul scene, particularly known for the club he co-ran in Borough, SHOTGUN which pushed the mod R&S sound into the 21st century! Yes, you heard it right, THE RANGER IS BACK!

RHYS is one of the busiest young DJs on the scene at the moment, from HEART OF SOUL in Lewisham to RUMOURS in Stokey, and spots with Keb Darge, Rhys is filling floors right across town and brings a huge amount of energy to the proceedings. There are also rumours he was once in a band, but we're sure that's just a rumour...

ABOUT US

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.

Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 

Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.

The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

We're now in our third fantastic year, and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2024.  (See attached flier)

Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
