Byron - Back where he belongs in Hucknall!

Yes we're back in Hucknall, his Lordship's ancestral seat. The Engine Rooms at Rolls Royce Leisure is our new home. A fantastic venue, with an excellent dancefloor.

This is the place to be to get your fix of original northern soul - eye-popping rarities, underplayed gems and stone cold classics. The perfect mix.

Every month features the highest quality guest DJs picked for their outstanding record collections and ability to appeal to the feet and ears of our crowd.

This month's guest is none other than Ted Massey. No words are needed, we all know Ted's pedigree. He brought the house down last time and we've no doubt he'll do the same again. Residents Simon Richard, Cathy C and Stu Teece will keep the tunes flowing throughout the rest of the night.

7.00 till 12 midnight and £6.00 on the door.

You'll be guaranteed a warm welcome from Alison and Harriet and the Byron team, and a night of dancing and listening to just the greatest Northern sounds, all on original vinyl.

The venue has a large car park, so no problems if you're travelling. Come and join us and our many Byron regulars for a night to remember - we'd love to see you.

    Really awesome music played last night. So good to hear such great mix of music. Really well attended, lots of room to dance

    Well this weeks adventure was to go to the relocated Byron, from it's old home to it's new home in Hucknall and the new night of the last Saturday in the month.

    OMG!!!!!

    We arrived to find the place absolutely packed. There were a mixture of soulers there, some who we knew from Kirk Hallam to some from other Nottingham events.

    The music hit us from the start and all of DJs played sets to be proud of, and all the DJs managed to keep the floor occupied.

    I would have given the event 6 * but the system doesn't go that high.

    The only fly in the ointment was that proposed room was out of use and the room used on the night was smaller and the floor was not giving.

    As a parting shot I would highly recommend to any soulers to try the Byron's new home as you won't be disappointed
