Soul At The Ritzy Summer Night Special - London

 It's SUMMER at last, and the SOUL AT THE RITZY crew are bringing you a seriously good night of 60s & 70s rare soul to celebrate.

We're thrilled to say we have two of the best DJs the scene has to offer, both experienced floor fillers who play across-the board-soul with rare-as-hen's-teeth bangers being mixed up with deeply dug classics and even the odd new tune. Both are generous, open-hearted DJs and a night to remember is guaranteed - as well as a packed dancefloor.

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.

Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 

Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.

The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

We're now in our fourth fantastic year, and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2025.  (See attached flier)

Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
