Soul At The Ritzy With Dave Pinches And Shaafi - London

*** Hot on the heels of our brilliant summer party a few weeks ago, we are back on Thursday 10th July with a seriously good line up to distract you from your week.

We are thrilled to have the wonderful DAVE PINCHES coming all the way down from Barnsley to play at the Ritzy for the first time. So many of you will know Dave for his top level collecting and record sales. There isn't much this man doesn't know about soul music so expect great DJing, big rareties and my guess a big dose of 60s with a dab of crossover but we will see!

And our second guest is the unstoppable SHAAFI PARVEZ, the energy behind the amazing Lewisham Heart of Soul allnighters. Shaafi is an energetic dj, playing all styles and he's great at bringing people together on the dancefloor.

So - a great Thursday night to come out for. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

SOUL AT THE RITZY is a monthly, sociable fun loving across-the-board soul night held in a brilliant venue – the club room at the top of the iconic Ritzy cinema in Brixton, London, just minutes from the tube station.

Music policy is 60s/70s soul, OVO of course.  It is neither a trainspotter's party or an oldies night. 

Your hosts JAKE LINGWOOD, DONNA DRISCOLL, and LISA HURLEY make sure each night packs a punch – and we bring you brilliant guests each month, as well as playing ourselves.

The sound system is top notch, and the venue has another ace up its sleeve – a large balcony overlooking Brixton’s Windrush Square.  It’s a brilliant venue and we’re thrilled/very lucky to have it.

We're now in our fourth fantastic year, and we’re really excited to have booked up a whole calendar of events for 2025.  (See attached flier)

Regular Thursday nights run from 7pm until midnight and are FREE.  And this year we're really excited to have four Saturday night specials which will run 8pm-2am and will be ticketed.
