Double O Soul May 11May 11 2 of 2 members say helpful 2 / 2 members Hi guys, what an eventful weekend. I was trolling through the Soul Source Events calendar and your event caught my eye. Within half an hours I was on the road and zipping over the tops to arrive, maybe by 09:00. There was a nice greeting at the door and £3.00 seemed very cheap for a Saturday night. Bar prices matched the entrance fee, and already I was feeling quid's in. Next, I had to workout my surroundings. It's a medium sized club room with a real wooden floor. With minutes a tune caught my ear and before I knew what I was doing, I stepped out. It turned out the floor was in pristine condition there is absolutely no need for talc. Andy introduced him self, we chatted as he made me made me feel welcome. It turned out he was one of the organises and DJ. He gave me the lowdown on the club, how it runs normally and pointed to a small pile of scrap paper and and pens. Requests are accepted readily. The DJs play from a mixture of Vinyl and MP3. After buying another round of drinks, I found a corner and set to again dancing. So many of the crowd came over to give me a personal welcome. What can I say, the night ended far to early. Coffee on the way home @ Hearts Head Service Station, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face (maybe it was the bonny girl in the white top, ha ha!) Steve
