OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY: Our July event is an important milestone for us, it marks the beginning of our second year and a whole new chapter in our Northern Soul & Motown journey down at the Greasbrough WMC. So first and foremost, we, the team and the club would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout our first year, it has been amazing and we hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we have enjoyed playing for you. So to kickstart our special night off into another year, first off, the club would like to show their appreciation by offering a '£25 Bar Voucher as a FREE PRIZE DRAW'! Also, to get our second year off to a great start we are very pleased to warmly welcome the ever charismatic Billy Backdrop, to complement the usual DJ line up of John Botham, Stuart Rowbotham and Ian Bruce, who between them will be spinning plenty of cracking tunes from a wide variety of genres right across the board, from our roots, starting back in the ‘youth club days’ (for many of us), a bit of rare and underplayed soul, mainstream soul, R ‘n B soul and a bit of modern soul. Hopefully plenty enough to keep everyone happy and enjoy helping us to celebrate the start of our second year.
As usual, it's FREE entry, cheap bar prices, big car park, a ‘fantastic’ talc friendly dancefloor, as declared by our regular dancers - (please use talc in moderation, though it is very well polished so not really needed). So plenty of great tunes to either shake a tail feather to, or just sit and enjoy listening to. Once again, a massive THANK YOU very much to all who have been and supported us throughout our first year, and any support at future events to help us keep you entertained for a second year will be greatly appreciated, as always.
