May Day Bank Holiday event was a cracker!, decent crowd and lovely weather, which augers well for this next one.

It's a completely FREE OF CHARGE event, and for anyone planning to have a day out/travelwise, below is the site and picture of Frankwell municipal car park. It's stiuated just across the Welsh Bridge in Shrewsbury ( off the A458 ). It's also FREE PARKING on bank holidays so...win-win all round!.

Claremont Tap do have a food menu as well as a great selection of drinks..it's centrally located so plenty of choice to drink and dine elsewhere too, if that's your preference.

Stopovers?: a selection of hotels with parking includes, The Lion Hotel on Wyle Cop, Abbotts Mead at st. Julians & Friars, and Premier Inn on Riverside.

10 minutes from town are several budget hotels including Battlefield and Bayston Hill Travelodge's and Holiday Inn Express at Emstrey.
