About The Event
Edgeley SK Soul Club since our first night in March 2024 has gone from strength to strength. We now have an event every month. Our soul nights are always on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Put a note in your diary.
In September 2025, our venue underwent a make-over. The club has been re-decorated, new carpets laid, new furniture added, new lighting installed and the dance floor has been substantially increased in size. It looks brilliant.
We believe the only way to achieve an authentic Northern Soul experience is DJ's playing Original Vinyl records. We have a core of top class local DJ's who play across the board Northern Soul and Motown mixed with the occasional R&B. All our DJ's are free to express themselves as they wish and they always do. Expect a mixture of "Rare and Underplayed" as well as a few Northern Soul classics. We have a policy of "Original Vinyl Only" which we believe adds to the experience, as our guests can always expect and will receive quality soul music.
Our DJ line up on Saturday 11 October 2025 is Carole Burgess, Steve Skopek, Dave Beech, Steve Foran, Dave Hargreaves and a special guest.
Our special guest DJ is the brilliant Hammie (Ian Hamilton). Hammie is a very well known DJ from Bedford who has DJ'd at events all over the UK including Prestatyn Sands, Half time Orange Leicester, Talk of the South Luton, St. Ives anniversary etc. etc. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see Hammie in the North West of England.
