Vocally Chain Reaction is stronger imo (and a few others who heard it ) Is it very much different from the 12? The "Dance Freaks" side of the Hott Ice 45 was also recorded by Chain Reaction in a very different (and in my opinion superior) version as "Dance Freak" on a 12" on the SOUND OF NEW YORK CITY, USA label.

May 12, 200916 yr hmmm maybe its my computer listend again an they do sound the same I just did an A/B comparison and made a file with the Hott Ice track in the left speaker and the Chain Reaction track in the right speaker and made them start at the same time. They sound exactly the same.

May 13, 200916 yr Author I didn't realise the Hott Ice was so well known.. Just heard it recently. I have the Chain Reaction 12", and thought this was a nice alternative version. But maybe not at a grand! I'll stick with the 12.

I think best reason to buy the Chain Reaction version is the other side "Say Yeah", killer boogie funk, better than Dance Freaks in my very honest opinion.
