n.b. record Collector say this is a 1970 release! It sounds just like Chuck Berry's Johnny Be Good and must have been recorded in the late 50's or very early 60's.

I've got another release on that label and it's a darkish bluey grey in colour.

Stonkin Mint condition as well.

Funny, I only had it in my hands the other day thinking, where the hell did I get this?

Can't remember who it was by but it had to be half way decent, otherwise I wouldn't have but it, I guess.

Can update you at the weekend if nothing else turns up about this label.

I think Injun is a UK bootleg label for R&R. I do remember this label, and similar labels, in circulation in the mid to late '70s. You could pick up Injun releases from Moondogs in East London for around £1.25 each.

Could well be the R&R equivalent of the Soul Sounds label.

Maybe it's one of those labels that only released 99 copies like Outasite and Purdah?

It's French, and will likely have been issued with a picture sleeve or art sleeve.

Actually, based on the fact that this label has had about 14 releases, then I would say that the rarest UK label must be Solid Sender, which only had two releases, to my knowledge, both being 6 track extended plays. The label was released by the Warrington Blues Society based in Warrington, of which I was a member.

Can anybody come up with something even rarer?
