Saw Ryan Shaw at Maryport Blues Festival last weekend and was totally blown away.

Brilliant covers of Bobby Womack's 'looking for a love' and The Sharpee's 'do the 45'

which i think is his new single.

Not picked up the cd yet but if it's as good as his live performance it should be OK.

Huge Fan, been pushing his debut CD since its release.

Some great originals (We Got Love) and super covers on their, in particular his rendition of the ashford & Simpson classic "I Am Your Man".

Aged only 26, the guys a genuine Soul artist for the 21st Century.

Ryan has a new single out in the Autumn and I can assure you, its excellent!

I was lucky enough to see him perform on a regular basis in New York as lead man with The Fabulous Soul Shakers who's mangaer was a good friend of mine. His solo stuff is outstanding.

Loved the RS album since day one. He was in the UK last year, I couldn't go but I enthused about the album so much that I convinced a bunch of mates to attend on my recommendation.

They were all very disappointed, as he did virtually nothing off it and concentrated instead on covers of familiar tunes like "Many Rivers To Cross"...

...I'm still living it down. Still like the album a lot, thoug!!!
