Posted August 3, 200915 yr Can anyone tell me the current price on this Also, I think it was re-issued or bootlegged - anyone know the difference from the original Thanks
August 3, 200915 yr I think the reissue was a 'legit ish' affair from the land of the rising sun, about 25 nikka. As for the kosher I've seen it anywhere from 25 to 125 (?). Was the label set up by some shady accountant as a tax scam or some such? Frank Dell elpee also. Great music. Jim

Jim The Jap boot James is referring to (from memory) doesn't have any reference to Japan on the label but it is on the 'yellow' Globe label, so it's pretty easy to tell the difference? imho I reckon the Jap boot is 50-75 and the orig! 'orange' Guinness label 125-150 Cheers Steve

'orange' Guinness label 125-150 Cheers Steve I tend to agree with £125-£150 for the original issue, but lately it seems that it has been available on ebay for £80-£100. I'd say lower than £50-£75 for the Japanese reissue. At the moment there is on ebay with a buy-it-now for $40 in mint condition from a reliable seller.

August 10, 200915 yr Got an 'orange' Guiness very recently still in shrink £25.00 thought that was a reissue? John That could very well be the original issue. I have only ever heard of the Japanese reissue (which should be easy to spot since it is on Globe), but I am still not 100% sure there there aren't any other reissues, but I don't think that there are...... If it is the original, then it's just a really nice price for a brilliant LP. And Orange (or almost red in my eyes) is the colour that the labels of the original LPs has. The last one I had on the label was Roger Hatcher. Edited August 10, 200915 yr by Preben
