Can someone explain to me how to respond to this complaint???

"Last time it was OK, but the DJ's were playing their own records!"

Well not their own obviously

Some folks are born moaners...they just like the sounds of their own voices

Oh and another thing, I don't have the luxury of being able to get out socialising very often and when I do I'm far too busy enjoying myself and valuing my free time that I don't have time to moan...can never understand why folks go to or stay at a do when they don't like what they hear...they've always got the choice of going elsewhere, or even home, after all

And there's always another option...switching off in one's head and turning the focus to chatting to others, thereby avoidng the need to moan

They probably meant the DJs weren't playing the same 50 boots they enjoy hearing everywhere else. Take it as a compliment.
