September 8, 200915 yr What strange label markings, anyone know what might have caused it, specially the A side? cant tell from the scans but does it look like and feel like the label is flaking away?, ive had a couple of things on pye and piccadilly where the label seems to have dried out, a bit like dry skin, ive had a jimmy james demo where it apears the top layer of the paper has just flaked off leaving areas of no printing left and tiny bits of white debris on the playing surface , just a thought vinyl dermatitas, moisturising cream not reccomended

September 8, 200915 yr What strange label markings, anyone know what might have caused it, specially the A side? WARNING! all the UK - PYE Labels are so sensitive to PHD that if you mess with them, things only get worse. My advice to all record UK Label collectors is don,t mess with a record in any way, as you can f**k them up especially the PYE labels, and don't try and put centres into records that have been "Dinked" this adds no value to a record at all, and is the activity of someone who is still "blocked" from the night before. Clean the vinyl that's all, unless you have a very good knowledge of record restoration. DAVE KIL,
