Recently picked up a nice copy of Tojo--Broken hearted lover,on a yellow TEC label.Great forgotten uptempo dancer,does anyone know anything about it VALUE,ARTIST,LABEL ORIGIN,and does it get plays out there

Recently picked up a nice copy of Tojo--Broken hearted lover,on a yellow TEC label.Great forgotten uptempo dancer,does anyone know anything about it VALUE,ARTIST,LABEL ORIGIN,and does it get plays out there

The Tec label is out of Washington D. C.

I was in contact with the USA record dealer D J Beans, who said he met Tojo. He was going to give me more info, but I never received it.

The flip "Blue Lover" is probably the official A side and is a nice Doo Wop style ballard.

Broken Hearted Lover is arranged by the great Fred Perrin.

It used to get played now and again iat Wigan Casino. Heard it played over the years but never on a regular basis.

I think its an excellent record and have it in the collection.

i think it's the only record by a "tojo" but maybe the artist released other records under another identity, it would be nice if "dj beans" revealed the artists real identity.
