cant get it to download, end up with a blank excel spreadsheet

i renamed the file extension to .xls and it opens in openoffice ok

maybe try renaming that if probs ?

Works ok for me using a mac, and it opens in 'numbers' no probs.

nope tried again mike doesnt even give me the option to rename

The way I got around it is to simply rename the file extension from .xla to .xls

It then opens with OpenOffice properly
