No that's not the correct answer, I asked was it ever played at the Mecca, NOT who first played it. But my question is for a research purpose only, of which you declined to answer, had you of known.

i know that this is probably no help to ya nick but the first time i heard this was around 20 years ago and it was derek pearson that played it. great 2 sider tho

I don't know if it was played at the Mecca I'm afraid, though it does have that sound to it doesn't it? I would like it on my ipod though, fantastic New York, 'fake' philly at a guess...

It was definately played by Barry Stanton - At Blackpool Casino - Thats where I heard it first so I would suggest it was played at the Mecca

Other side is good as well
