February 12, 201015 yr FANIA IS ORIGINAL LP RELEASE. Correct young Franklin, but it would have also have had contemporary releases in other territories at the same time e.g my copy of the LP is on UK London (incidentally, Ray Barretto "Acid" LP was also issued on UK London, as was Ralph Robles "Taking Over" which I've also got. I've got the single "Riot" on black Peruvian Fania. I don't know about the one in this thread, but it could be a contemporary south american release or a later reissue. Not much help I know! Rich
February 12, 201015 yr Hi Rich, yeah i love this album, wouldn't mind this copy, always liked the Foreign cuts, i have the Bennito Sextet Plus One on a Panamanian demo Lp, and seeing as the US Tico release is very tough, its one of my crown jewels, plus i have the Joe Battan 'Afrofilipino' LP on Salsoul original US copy plus a blinding Israel Epic release of the same album. By the way Rich when we out again, been too long mate. Brett
