Didn't know he'd auctioned it Dave This has always been my preferred version for,what, 50 quid? Great record IMHO

Yeah I love this record hence decided to collect them all. B sides are good also.

I only paid £10 for my pink one off Gemm but that was before manship auction, do see this one more than the others.

There is one on ebay, below, at the moment so will see how much it goes for.

Realized that there are diffrent versions of it but didn´t know how much. What are the diffrences between the versions and which one is sampled in that mix?

First of all have to say I really enjoyed that mix, thanks for posting.

Cleveland Robinson released four different versions of Boy on four singles on his Nosnibor (Robinson backwards) label .

Each release has a different musical approach:

#1003 a ballad with male group backing (Maroon label).

#1006 a big powerful 60's dancefloor filler (Light Blue label).

#1011 same backing as #1006 but with added bongos and harmonica (Pink label).

#1012 a nice 70's funkier approach (White label).

This mix uses the #1012 version which was produced by Gene Page.
