What a shame, the backing track to this is absolutely belting but the vocalist is a cross between Lee Hazlewood and Johnny Cash, if only it had been sung 'properly'. Or in stereo so I could have removed the vocal maybe...

Well, I like quirky NS tunes + I like Johnny Cash (an uncanny likeness!) + I think the backing is tremendous!

We can inflict it on the public by me including it in this weeks podcast!

n.b. maybe I should make this topic disappear then it can be covered up as Johnny Cash laugh.gif

Just realised it's from DETROIT(?)...there's another by him backed by the Motor City Orchestra on Setting Sun!

....or perhaps it's not the same guy?

MULE TRAIN!!! :hatsoff2:

The one off Gemm, from Adey Pierce, maybe - I remember being on a trip with him about 8 Years ago and finding a few of these (in Springfield , Missourri, if I remember rightly) I couldn't make my mind up about it then.....and still can't. I kept one for ages, as Pete says - great backing!!
