Unaware of the record being booted but whilst we're on the subject and im reading this ...i just noticed the copy of Jimmy James on Delta going for silly money.

Cheers, EBay is very strange indeed, i was after a copy of The Parliaments 'Don't Be Sore At Me' one copy went for £56, the very next day i got one for £11, both were identical Revilot issues in excellent condition.

the shop copy is mega rare. even the demo goes for £400+ these days. never booted on a 45 as far as i know. could always get one carved if its for your own use at home

where did that come from nev, is that delta thingy a new press as i have never seen it before. if its a 70`s press must be rarer than the magnetics on bonnie. the seller say its uk lp only as well. hmmmmm

MY ISSUE IS STYRENE AND ALL THE DEMO`S IVE SEEN ARE STYRENE. NEVER SEEN VINYL COPIES BUT THEY COULD EXIST

The Delta thing is obviously a Beach re-issue/boot, esp with Greyhound on other side. Coulda been done anytime in past 25 years.

Spot on Rod.....i remember hearing this on a cd a few yrs back and drew a blank looking for it on vinyl,then i found one of these delta jobbies on ebay and payed a handsome $0.75 for it

I bought it from a guy who seemed to specialise in Beach/shag scene records and he made no attempt to disguise the fact

Seem to recall you are well versed in this scene Rod ?? would i be correct in saying they don't give a monkey's about rare records or values so they just press em up to meet the demand.

Very much in the same way the much discussed "heaven in the afternoon" on PAD that often gets bandied about as a rare record.

The seller may have got the info wrong regarding the original not being issued on British and was Lp only, but if people wanna take chances on thinking theyve just found some bloody holy grail ...they only have themselves to blame for paying 0TT .

P.s i've just checked my copy out of curiosity and could'nt help having a bit of a laugh ......the flip side is "moon river" by a group called Greyhound

Just wait till the buyer who paid £80+ opens his parcel and see that
